Important Point : There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in Computer Based Examination. Candidates are, therefore, advised to keep this in mind while answering the questions.
How to Fill : SSC Steno Grade C & D Recruitment 2024
- SSC has started one time registration on its new website SSC.GOV.IN. All registrations are through OTR. Those who have not yet done OTR registration on the new website cannot apply without OTR registration.
- Staff Selection Commission has released the advertisement for SSC Steno Stenographer Grade C and D Exam 2024. Candidates who want to apply for this SSC Stenographer Grade C and D Recruitment 2024 can apply online from 26/06/2024 to 17/08/2024.
- To apply, the candidate is not required to have a live photograph of himself. The application module is designed to capture the photograph of the candidate while filling up the application form. For this purpose, the candidate must stand/sit in front of the computer/mobile phone camera as prompted by the application module and follow the following instructions while capturing the live photograph:
- (i) Find a place with good lighting and plain background.
- (ii) Ensure that the camera is at eye level before capturing the photograph.
- (iii) Stand exactly in front of the camera and look straight ahead.

- (iv) Ensure that their face is completely inside the red rectangular area delineated by the camera and it is neither too close nor too far. It should cover the area completely and no part of the face should be outside the rectangle.
- (v) Candidates should not wear hats, masks or glasses while capturing the photograph. Candidates must read the notification before applying
- Please check and collect all the documents – Eligibility, ID Proof, Address Details, Basic Details.
- Please have ready scanned documents related to recruitment form – photo, signature, ID proof, etc.
- Preview and check all the columns carefully before submitting the application form.
- If the candidate is required to pay the application fee then the same has to be deposited. If you do not have the required application fee your form is not complete.
- Take a print out of the finally submitted form.
