“Oh, an animator.” takes off glasses and hoodie “JAIDEN THE ANIMATOR?!”
@Mico_0-c9w
You know what’s funny? My friend recognized Jaiden in the sweater and glasses thing escaping the Miku concert but chose not to approach since she’s very shy. The only thing that saved Jaiden probably was someone being too introvert
@RubberRossLMAO I FORGOT ABOUT THE EMIRU GUY AT THE ZOO
@raventhechaotic
I hope more people start fan interactions with “correct me if I’m wrong, but who are you?” With you because that’s an ELITE inner-fandom joke lmao
@lavenderstarzzz
“correct me if im wrong but… who are you?” i love that
@stardynamite3762
jaiden writing “my funniest fan interactions” but it’s really just “let me explain why you caught me lookin like a goblin irl”
@ordinary1923
Im convinced Jaiden uploaded this video as potential damage control for that one photo with the “colorful background”
@Oshicandraw
” this is me!” * shows her cartoon avatar* thanks Jaiden, now i know

My mild face blindness means that unless you stood in front of me with full ari gear on and said “hi im jaiden” i wouldnt know. lmaooo
@aeroon9991
The best part about being a storytime animator is that your real face isn’t engraved on everyone’s psyche. You get to maintain a large amount of NORMAL human interactions.

Fun fact for the Superman/Clark Kent disguise debate: Christopher Reeve would frequently go to a restaurant during the filming of Superman, and he would just go dressed as however he was dressed. If he was dressed up as Superman, everyone would see and ask for autographs and stuff. But when he went dressed as Clark Kent, absolutely no one recognized him.

I love that the first guy clearly thought “oh wait, what if it’s just an Asian girl, and I’m racist for assuming an Asian girl is Jaiden!!” And Jaiden then dedicated an entire section of this video going “you did the right thing dude, look at these people who assumed any Asian girl is Jaiden.” Edit: I understand this comment sparked a “is it racist” debate, that part makes sense. What I don’t get is that I literally made a comment where Jaiden herself told the guy “you’re fine” and people still go “how is that guy racist!?” Like guys, no one is claiming he is racist. At most people claim he was worried he was racist, but that is not the same at all. It only becomes racist when you make no effort to see beyond race when telling people apart, or when you don’t question assumptions like, “this must be Jaiden” even when someone tells you “no it’s emirichu.” Literally just acknowledge your own potential ignorance and you’re fine.Read more

The “Googling before asking” is such a real sentence. Met one of my favourite streamers back in 2011. And not only was I correct in recognising them, but circa 2022 I tuned in to one of their streams, they referred to me as “the OG polite lurker”. I was kinda humbled they remembered me, and framed it as a positive experience.

That kid may as well be walking around with a bullseye around his neck with how much that PokéMon card is worth.
@ThatGuyJohn05
Nothing makes me happier knowing that I am considered “Normal” by one of my favorite animators.
@ergomagesteph
I def sympathize with the Burger King fan interaction, because I see it more as “oh god, they look busy and just want to relax, I don’t wanna disrupt that any more than necessary, so I’mma just quickly say ‘hi’ and leave”. Because I literally did and felt that when I happened run into Jaiden, Alpharad, and pchal at a ramen restaurant at TwitchCon 2022. Ty again for signing my badge Read more

Hii Emirichu! i love your story time animations content! 😀
JaidenAnimations, the beloved animator known for her witty commentary and relatable life stories, has cultivated a massive and highly engaged fanbase. Among the myriad of ways her community interacts with her, some of the most memorable and genuinely hilarious moments stem from direct fan interactions. These encounters, whether online or in person, often showcase the unique blend of Jaiden’s deadpan humor and her fans’ boundless enthusiasm.
One recurring source of amusement comes from fans misinterpreting or comically exaggerating elements from her videos. It’s not uncommon to see comments referencing “Arizona” in increasingly absurd contexts, a nod to her well-known struggles with the heat and general dislike for the state. Similarly, fans will playfully demand updates on her bird, Ari, often asking about his “schemes” or “world domination plans,” treating him as a character with his own elaborate backstory. These inside jokes, born from her content, are amplified and twisted into new, comical forms by her dedicated followers.
In-person interactions at conventions or meet-and-greets provide another rich vein of comedic gold. Fans have been known to bring her everything from custom-made Ari plushies in bizarre outfits to highly specific fan art referencing obscure moments from her channel. There are countless stories of fans attempting to perfectly mimic her signature deadpan stare, often resulting in awkwardly endearing attempts that leave both Jaiden and onlookers in stitches. Sometimes, the humor comes from the sheer unexpectedness, like the time a fan presented her with a bag of gummy worms and earnestly asked her to review them on the spot.
These interactions, while lighthearted, highlight the genuine connection Jaiden has with her audience. Her fans aren’t just viewers; they’re participants in an ongoing, shared experience. The funniest moments arise from this collaborative spirit, where the lines between creator and community blur, resulting in spontaneous and genuinely heartwarming hilarity. It’s a testament to Jaiden’s accessible persona that her fans feel comfortable enough to engage in such wonderfully weird and memorable ways.
